just pour it in your transmission.
sorry I had to.

New Picture comming this summer.
Is your transmission leaking ?
Does it slip when turning a sharp corner ?
If not, you're probably o.k..
It's a very involved process to add fluid because there
is no dipstick to check fluid level. (I hope you simply
don't need this procedure.)
If there are no signs of leaks, and you still think you
need to do something, you may consider dropping the
transmission pan and the filter, then refilling with the
correct amount of fluid.
For example, my 2002 with 4 speed automatic takes
9 quarts.
And you can check the j-body archives since this
subject has often been discussed.
I think that you can pull a bolt out of the side of the tranny to check the fluid. Correct me if Im wrong but dont you pull the bolt while the engines running and fill untill it leaks a small amount
Steve, yes there is that inspection plug on the back side of
the transmission.
What is the main problem is, the car has to be level during
what you describe.
In my case I have to jack up all four wheels and put jack
stands at each wheel. It takes me 30 minutes to just
to get the car up and make it level.
