Ok, Im gonna do that "home depot garage door lip" (go ahead and hate) basically it's held up with double sided tape and some small screws....i wanna do it all around, where would i screw into to do side skirts with it? i believe it's all metal there and ive got some rust under there that isnt pretty, dont think the double sided tape will hold onto it for too long.
don't do it all the way around. it looks like poop.
i only say this because i've done it, and it looked like poop.
the front lip is fine, anywhere else and it looks like poop.

Agreed. My friend tried this and it didnt look too good. All Ive done is the front and Im happy with it. You should try it out and see if you'll settle for just doing the front.
