does anyone have a custom fade paint job on a 3rd gen? I'm playin with paint jobs for my 01 cavy, the idea of pearl black into silver came across my mind. I searched the forum and members, didn't find anyone. post pics please if you got one.

by fade you mean one colour fades into the other correct? No straight cut lines?

yea, exactly, and i changed my mind to a metallic black on top down into a metallic emerald green to the bottom. I'm putting green neon lights under the car so i think that'll look and flow really nice

the last fade paint job I did was 1997, beware of what you want. Paint is expensive!!!!
Heck-- I want to do a 'glow in the dark' orange metallic but I haven't gotten any takers yet

beers: is that a free paintjob youre offering? if so, what other glow in the dark color would you wanna try!? hahaha

LOL!!!
my current situation-- no paint booth, working 6 days a week, going to 10hr day shortly-- but--
if you want to drive to Iowa, prep the car, tape it, pay for the sealer, paper and clear coat, a case of Busch lite- dinner for my wife and I-
you can look thru the 100+ cans of paint I have, come up with a design and "we" can have at it in the driveway !!!!

^^^^thats a hell of a deal^^^^^ i have a couple cases of busch lite in the garage.

haha, if it wouldn't cost me $300 to drive to and back from pa to Iowa, i'd take u up on that deal. It cost me $45 to fill up my 01 cavy the other day, not even 12 gallons, i almost cried.
