I have adopted a problem with an 03 Cavi that had been ran out of oil. When I got it it was running extremely rough and pulsating heavily. I checked the oil and the dipstick was dry and slightly rusted. Drained the oil and maybe got 2 quarts of sludge out. I am guessing the timing chain has jumped due to low oil pressure. I'm no expert, but I am assuming there is probably some considerable internal damage so rather than rebuild it I would like to just swap the engine. Is there a resource somewhere that tells me what other vehicles I can pull an engine from and drop right in? I found one from an 06 HHR but I'm not sure if it would be ideal. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
