If I were to buy a header, res, cat, muffler, etc ... what would a good price be on having it installed and having some 2.25" pipes bent all the way?
i found it hard to find a shop that would install my header and it cost a lot.
as far as the rest goes try calling some muffler shops in youre area like minute mufler, most can build you a compression bent exhaust and there not too expensive.
Eh, if you are going to bother to get a header, res, cat, and muffler etc.....you have to get mandrel bent exhaust. In my area, we have a couple local shops which are much cheaper and do a much better job than the chain shops. Just as a ROUGH estimate, excluding header install, I would say 300-500 for all new exhaust.

"The Blue Bullet"
to install my 4-1 header, magnaflow cat, resonator and 2 1/4 piping w/o a muffler cost me around $250. then i got the dynomax super turbo muffler inlet/ dual outlet for $60 with two chrome tips at $50 a piece, that cost me $200 to install.
check out mighty muffler (i think they go by a new name now) they are on the corner of 452 and bethel rd (right under 322). since i believe you said you lived in media, its only like 10 mins from you. me and alot of my buddies get our exhaust done there. its not the cheapest but they do quality work there
install the header and down pipe yourself and get them to do the rest. Just try to avoid the 5-0 on the way, it will be loud and sick(as in bad). It would save you probably $100 and isn't hard, just need time.
Thanks for the tip, stippedcav. I'll contact them. It's only about 25 minutes from my place (it's an easy drive tho ... just take 476 south to i-95 and they're right there). Even if they're a little more expensive, if you guys say they do quality work, I'd rather pay a little extra for quality than have some @!#$ty work done and save a few $$. RH, that would be funny as hell ... I hear driving around with just the header is so loud it sets off car alarms for like a 2 block radius, haha.

BTW: This is my Sig.
another quick question ... I just measured the end of an OBX header I have an it's 2" ... I searched and read that pacesetter headers are also 2" ... is there a point in widening the exhaust to 2.25" if it's gonna be chocked to 2" at the end of the header anyway?
Header $175-300
Highflow Cat $75-200
Piping $50-200
Muffler $50-250
If wanted Resonator $50-175
So thats like $400 for a cheap exhaust.
Or about $1000 for a crazy best parts to can buy Exhaust.
Mine was
175 pacesetter header
Catco Cat 175
Flex joint $50
$160 for piping
$150 for muffler
$710 total for me.
