alright, my first question. does a silencer matter when it comes to performace? or does it just deal with sound. i searched and didn't find anything. thanks.

a silencer is just what it sounds like. all it does is silence the sound from the muffler.

If you have a full exhaust it will rob your power to. you have lets say 2 and a 1/4inch exhaust and then as its about to exit it goes dont to 1 and 3/4 i.e STOCK and it looks ugly......the only reason you should put it in is if you are going somewhere where the cops are bad or if you have a long drive.
