I have a 96 Z 5spd. I am close to finishing the build and I have been told that it is easier to drop the motor back in without the tranny connected to it. Is it easier to go ahead and drop the tranny in first and have it mounted and shifter cables and axels already connected? Thanks guys

everytime ive done it ive done both at the same time its not that big a deal, i like having the 2 connected and all bolted together around the bellhousing, just need to move some stuff outta the way and drop tranny side in first at a steep angle, also helps to have the brake master unbolted and moved a bit.
anyone else have an opinion?

Better to connect motor and tranny and drop them in together!
