just as the subject says. bought one and the gasket i bought is supposed to be for a t3 but it doesnt fit. wanted to know if its the turbo thats not a t3 or the gasket.

the small 1 is t2? and the big 1 is a mitsu turbo i think
it depends. some of the T3's have a smaller rectangle flange. most of the newer saabs use the Air Research (Garrett) T3 turbos, and some of them also used Mitsu TD04's and TD05's

I have a turbo from a SAAB year 99 and it's a Garret GT1752.

yea Saab uses a lot of the 1752 turbocharges on their 9.3 and 9.5 vehicles. It's rated as one of Garrett's smaller turbochargers, but would still get the job done for up to 15 psi or so on a J-car.

Need to know what year and model. I know the 2003+ 93 2.0L Ecotec uses a Mitsubishi TDO4.

that is exactly what I am running on my car currently.
I love it!
I have tried 5 different turbos on my car and this is by FAR the best turbo I have used. It pulls very hard and builds boost so fast there is no lag. Very responsive I love it.

the 89 I got from Saab is a T3, a 87 sitting in my garage from Saab is a T3. Both airsearch and garrets are the same.
the one i got was bolted to a saab manifold and all. im just wondering if the gasket is wrong. ill know soon enough when i get the manifold. if it doesnt fit then its not right. i was just wondering if anyone knew.
