Searched and coulnd find and answer. Can the ecotec oil pump handle anything i do to the engine? If i need a better pump, where would i find one? Thanks for the help guys.
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

You have alot of learning to do. But judging by your profile i'd say its a safe bet that it will be enough for anything YOU do.
If not you can always buy one of these to pump more oil, its the same design your windshield squirters use... I had to use one when I boosted..

the only thing you have to worry about the pump is on a 2 step launch control or hitting a very high rev limiter (like 12,000rpm)
other than that, you don't have to worry about it. Thats a 2.4 problem we didn't inherit.
yah...the only upgarde i know of is the gm hardened oilp pump gears...not so much a upgrade but a precaution

Thats not very nice. I'll have you know I'm about to start a turbo eco build. In about two weeks I'll be gettin an 04 eco, trans, harness and ecu. Besides, a profile doesn't tell you me financial situation or my mechanical inclination. So nahner nahner. lol.
But anyway, thanks for the help you guys. I knew the 2200 had an upgrade, but i didnt know if the eco had one. Thanx again guys.
