recently i saw this turbo at a car show i attented and i really liked it is this turbo the right size for my car i dont want anything too big or too small i only plan around 12psi at the most and six when i first put it on. the specs look like it would be alright for my plans but i want to get some more answers from you all cuz id rather ask then not ask and buy something thats too big for my engine, thanks guys yall are the best lol!
hell, i think it looks legit... i like that its polished. idk bout quality on it though, ive never heard anything bad about OBX products, hell i never knew they even made turbos.
the seller has a really good feedback ratio with like 17,000 positives, so im sure he's good. lots of good pics as well. to me, it looks TINY, but hey... like i said, i like that its polished
i wouldn't buy that with a gun put to my head
first it says its a T3
then in the description it says its a T04R
I wouldn't trust that thing (or the description) as far as I could throw it.. unless you want a really cool, expensive and shiny paperweight, I'd avoid it at all costs.
Judging from the inducer/major measurements, it is a 60 trim T3 compressor wheel which makes it a good size.
Would i buy a OBX turbo? No.

No such thing as a stock replacement turbo for a car that never came stock with a turbo.

I think he means like ordering a stock replacement turbo for a eclipse or Rx-7 or such not for the cavi.
ford thunderbird turbocoupe i'm pretty sure its called
comes with a T3.. but its painfully small
one version comes with a 48 and another with a 60
you want the 60trim
I'd say the best bet for you is to use a lighter weight turbo like a T-25.
