I just wanted to find out some stuff about the garrett t3/o4e. I got a whole kit with everything i'll ever need and the turbo is a garrett t3/o4e. I just wanted to know stuff like how fast it spools and what it tops out at and such. all info would be greatfully appreciated. i can't wait to get it in my car. anybody live in jersey and know where to get it in for cheap? thanks!

what trim do you have , i have a 57trim , 63 ar and i get full boost about 2900rpm in my 2.4 . i think full boost spools to a little over 30psi, i might be wrong because ive never taken it that high but im pretty sure im right
i actually got it from someone on this site. he was selling his but i forgot to ask what trim. i'll ask and tell u. i didn't actually mean full spool i just wanted to know how much power it can hold. that's all but thanks any other feedbacks on it? pros cons? i'm planning on running about 8psi. sound ok on a stock engine with a proper tune?

if its really a garret it will last u a long time...thats if he didnt rag on it....check for shaft play when u get it......but yea 26-3000rpm full boost...turbo handles 25-30 psi......and as far as power ull make...depends on ur supporting mods

Sorry to thread jack but i'm just curious, i have the same exact turbo but mine is the 50trim .63a/r and is a twin scroll. Come spring i'm looking to go 20psi

what should I expect for spool and max hp with this turbo?

lol...well i'm running on the stock but it's going to be intercooled and everything. so that's why i'm not pushing it past 10 until later on when i have the money for a set of forged pistons and rods. then i'll push it up more. I think around 8 psi it puts down like 230 around that area right? and jimmyc dunno much about it but twin scroll....wooooooo!! =]
on a damn good tune i could see around 230....ud def hit 230 at 10

first thing turbos arent comparded by how much psi they can handle, its all about hp, if you have a properly built motor you could max out the turbo before reaching 20psi, put it this way, on a 4cyl. car you reach maximum output of the turbo at 20lbs, put the same turbo on a v8 and it can only run 10psi before maxed out, but to answer your questions you'll be fine with the t3/to4e on a stock motor, but those injectors are too small you'll need at least 35lbs, and if your kit didnt come with a wideband i would strongly sudjest one.

hmm thanks for the update and info but i don't plan on 10 i plan only like 8 max for now. Hopefully it'll keep up for about a month until i get injectors
the kit comes with 26lb injectors but also an OBX FMU 12:1 does that effect it in anyways?
do i have to do any other mod if i use ford green top injectors? i think they're 440cc or something.

Sounds like my turbo that I sold to a guy last year. Does it have blue plates to hold the compressor housing to the assembly? If so then its probably mine that I sold to a guy awhile back.
