Ok so My buddy has a 1987 celica jdm 3sge engine that we made a ccustome turbo kit for .blaugh blaugh.. blaugh.. so anyways he was having problems when he hit like 10 psi of just oil everywhere. after sending his turbo back to garrett and them looking over everything, the turbo was fine... so we looked alsewhere then we looked at his crank case vent.. it vent's directially into the tb.. So we came to the conclusion of an extra 10 psi of air flowing at whatever valume per sec was causing the problem.. so now we plugged the hole in the tb and the plumes of smoke stopped...
Now on to my problem...
On my car the same thing their is a crank case breather that vents into my tb... so Should I do the same thing????? my car is doing some wierd sht... it sounds like it is going to fall apart at 7 psi... never had this problem till the new charge pipes...

the PCV system on the J body seems to require it being plumbed into the intake to work properly. making sure you don't over fill your engine with oil even a slight bit will help also. when i first installed my charger i did an oil change also but we got new jugs of oil up here in Canada that are 4.34 litres now and i didn't realize it and poured in the whole thing. i started having boosting fun and it started maing like i blew the rings. i thought the breathing system was bunk so i put in a regular breather. that ended with my engine bay being saturated in an oily mist. i hooked the proper system back up and discovered that even after all the oil had been burned and misted it was still slightly over full. it smoked a couple more times after but then it stopped when the level became proper and hasn't smoked since. its also free of oil in there for the last couple months.
I have a pretty good post saved where this disscussion is on the 2.4 and blown turbo seals. (boosting into the crankcase causing increased oil pressure in the feedline to the turbo.)
