on teh ends this is what ive been told: cross teh carpet over itself then cut both carpets, take excess off and you have a perfect cut.
but thats all i know...
i used hot glue to stick it to the wood

Don't use hot glue..lol.
They sell some nice 3M spray adhesive that works great.
It's really not as hard as you'd think. Especially if you have a square box.
good luck making it stick around the port. Mine has such a high veolicty it ppulls it away from the wood.

i usually take a piece of 1/4 or 1/8" hardboard..and cut it the same shape as the front of the box..then carpet it and attach it. makes for a nicer seam around the port.
