Hey its Brandon from Central Illinois. I was wondering if there was any Illinois J club and if so where are they. If there isnt one in central illinois (a.k.a Springfield, Bloomington, Peoria, Champaign-Urbana, etc.) would anyone be interested in starting one. I live in Lincoln, about 30 mins from Springfield and Bloomington, and 45 from Peoria. If anyone is interest jus reply here. Thanks

We have already had a BBQ back in April, and will prolly try to have another one towards the end of June or early July....
Like I said theres not alot of us in Central Illinois, so we plan ahead to get people from all over Illinois to come.
Most of the Illi JBO J's are up here in Chicagoland and north. There are some down in the *far south suburbs* like Kankakee area, tho I haven't seen that guy post in quite awhile (since just before the April 1 BBQ in Peoria actually). The J's up here had two big tri-state BBQ's last year in Schaumburg right near Woodfield Mall. We had people from IL, WI, and MN at both meets
There oughta be more big meets this summer, but we generally only have it planned about a month ahead of time.
Oh yea, figure it this way too - the closest JBO guy to me is Darkstars, about 20 mins north-ish of me, the next closest (which is actually a cluster/group) is about 40 minutes south of me, but that's taking the highway. Ryan/Darkstars is local streets. So chances of you finding other J's real close to you are kinda slim
