quick question . . .
do they make a custom fit or
has anyone ever modded a multi throttle body to there j body ??
that kind of helps
but still not vehicle specific
kinsler is engine specific, since GM and Roush had them design the ITBs for the engine in their race cars.
I talked to scott a few months ago about them, and they SHOULD fit on a jbody and clear the rad support and hood, but nobody knows for certain.
your profile isn't filled out so I have no idea what you have done, but ITBs shouldn't be first on the list. Stock ecu won't like them (although you could probably HPT it to work), ITBs will push the powerband outside of the ECU's range and tuning will be a major pain. It should be used with a stand alone ecu, and after a port job on the head and some pretty aggressive camshafts. You'll also need to upgrade to larger injectors since the ITBs will flow a lot more air.. I'd say 440cc just to be safe.
alot of people will argue you need high compression as well, but the 2.2 ecotec stock compression should be "OK" until you get the hang of tuning ITBs
i just like to ask questions for knowledge
going through my options to see which direction i should go as far as tuning

has anyone used itb's on a their j-body ??

Incorrect, Franz Peters (he really is not on the site anymore) had a custom setup on his 3.1 Cav, I forget all the specs, but he had 2 throttlebodies, complete custom intake. It ran, but made next to no difference as far as performance goes.
I will ask him if he still has pics kicking around.
i believe the OP is referring to individual throttle bodies.
Paul ran his 2.4 n/a madness on it for a brief period, but I don't know if he's still doing so.
Individual as 4? 1 per cylinder? If so, It has been done, just as you stated.
I read somewhere that someone was fabricating ITB's using the throttle bodies from a GSXR-1000 and fabricating them for the Eco.. not too sure what came of it though..

if "has been done" means running but not actually driven (so far as I know) then.. yes its been "done".

that was me. I gave up. the kinsler ITBs are a possibility still, but at this point I'm almost hell bent on boost (the engine in the skwirl now is sort of built for it).
