i was wondering has any body ever has done rear wheel skirts to help with their mpg? i was wasted last night when the idea came to me. i don't know if i could make it look like i thought it would but the reduction in your cd would help with speed and mpg wasn't sure where to post this
i love when ideas come to u with ur wasted, those are the best ideas
Tthose weird Honda hybrids did it for just that purpose. Do the Priuses not do it as well /? (but i doubt it would do much).

There was a convertable with rear wheel skirts. i dont know if it was for MGp or style, but it looked pretty bad to be honest
well i guess i'm gonna have to do a mock up and see what it looks like. if it's fugly i wont go for it but i was all over the net today reading about drag coefficients and what not and it definatly should help in the millage department as long at i dont screw and make more drag some how
You are going to be much better off over here
http://ecomodder.com/. They do this stuff all the time trying to get the best mpg's possible. It does cut down on drag to some degree. They also smooth over their front bumpers and make pans to cover their engine bays. It is alot of work, but they are going for all out mpg, unlike people over here who are usually looking for performance, stereos, or looks. Check it out, lots of neat reading.
