Hey guys im going to ask this question again because i certainly didnt get a clear answer. My question is about ebay short shifters. They look really good in the pictures but what is the quality like what kind of experience have been had with them, good or bad? I'm not looking for reponses like "b and m FTW" or "support the US economy FTW" im not interested in that, i want to know about what people think of them and how well they handle to everyday driving, are they better than the stock shifter???? thanks!!

i have one. i love mine. i think it was $60 shipped. no problems and its 3 years old.
im actually looking at the cosmo shifter right now any comments on that?
Cosmo seems to be one of the better "off brands" out there...go for it if you cant afford a B&M..
i could afford a b&m but like i said, my ebay was fine and i love it.

i just got a b & m in my car the other day, swapped with a guy for the stocker
but it seemed a bit sloppy compaired to the ebay one i have layin in my room. ive never installed the ebay one, but the piece thats connected to the bottom of the shifter seems to have been machined better on the ebay one as to where is doesnt have as much play, i had to take the b & m out and insert an extra washer to fix how sloppy the b & m was. side by side they are almost exactly the same except the ebay one is shiny. id just say go with whatever u want, ive driven an 02 ls sport with the cosmo and it felt great, i have no complaints.
I just picked up an eBay special for mine a couple weeks ago for like $33 shipped or something like that. Other than the fact it didn't come with a clip I needed it's fine...

Except I didn't get the instructions, but I found some on here. Very good shifter I would buy it again.
