Ok so i am going turbo and once again upgrading my exhaust. Now the question is about cat converters. I have no emmisions here. I have run 2 maganflow cats and both within a few tmonths stat rattling on the inside so im kinda leary/pissed about going with them again. Should i just run a test pipe with the o2 sensor trick or is there a good brand that offers 2.5" or 3" cats that dont die after a short time...phil
no emissions, why not a test pipe?
magnaflow has good cats.

well like i said im leary of magno flow cats as my one literally died in like 2 months and the other in less than a year. Only thing about test pipes im worried about is being too loud..even with a cat, resonator and muffler i still got complaints..
If you're going turbocharged, I'd possibly wait till you do that before you start modifying your exhaust system cause you're going to end up doing it again for your downpipe and connecting to the rest of the exhaust system.
Me personally, if I was going turbocharged, I'd do that and not put any catalytic converters on...
But I'm a fan of open downpipes so that doesn't say much for me and sound quality lol
it will be turboed and all at once..doing a engine swap/build turbo so yah...car isnt on the road yet
