Has anybody ever used a 4.3L vortec throttle body on a Q4 HO intake manifold before? The throttle linkage looks identical including the cruise and its 75mm with all standard GM sensors. It looks like a pretty simple swap with slight modifications to the manifold.

75 mm is too large to mate up to the stock HO manifold. The manifold has to be cut and a new flange/spacer rewelded to the manifold. Karo had it on the Sunfire. I believe Cory Zepp (aka Syntar...aaka Zs Z) has one too I believe. I will eventually get my northsar put on one of these days.

Yes I have one of those. It looks like the same throttle cable and cruise setup. Might have to fiddle with the bracket to get it to work. I am going to use a dremel and bore out the opening of the HO intake manifold then make an adaptor out of 3/4" phenolic. I mocked it up with cardboard, it looks like its gonna be a close fit without wielding on a new flange but doable. Ill post when I know but it might be a while because I somehow managed to crack my flexplate and therefore need to pull my engine to replace it as soon as I get free time.
