Dose anyone know where or know every thing to swap in a 2.4 i have a z24 its a 99 auto and my 98 is a auto plz help its my only car.
you probably wont get much replys offer then to tell you to search. This topic has been covered over and over again. Its a basic swap if you have a donor car.
I am asking because right now all i got to go on the net is a cell phone. or i would search
As I understand, unbolt one motor, bolt in the other, swap ecu's, Unblug the engine harness for the 2.2, plug in the engine harness for the 2.4 and that is that in a nut shell. Oh yea and keep the 2.4L tranny with the 2.4L motor.
If you already have a 2.4 z then it's just a mater of unbolting everything and swapping in the new one.

The 99z is his parts car, the 98 ohv is his car.
