i have the OBX cermaic coated header for the 2.4. I picked it up for a good price ($160 shipped) and I can feel a pretty good power increase for the price (guessing 7-8hp)
however, the bad side of the header is that its starting to surface rust right through the ceramic coating
this is after 1yr being on the car)
OBX takes products already engineered by other companies then sends them to China and has cheaper copies made then sells them for a lower price than the originals. Many people don't like their stuff because some of the items don't fit right or have broken, but personally I don't have a problem with them,when I brought my 2000 Z24 it already had the OBX header on it and I just ordered their LSD (quaife knockoff).
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.

I don't have any personal experience with OBX, but I've heard more bad than good. I wouldn't risk
my money on a product with that reputation. that's my $0.02, take it or leave it.

Well ive had an OBX header that has been on my sunfire when i bought it, the header was only couple months old then. Almost two years later header is still functioning correctly but all that i've had is two cracks on it that i welded up. Overall good product so far, ive heard many people having tons of problems with their products but mine has held up, im guessing its all in the luck of the draw!
I guess if you call having to weld it twice to fix it, holding up...... You'd be happy with just about anything.....

..... and the already died once comment...... reminds me of this guy I sorta work with..... has told me on more then one accasion about his "Single Car, single person, FATAL accident" he was in....... I'm starting to feel like that boy in the 6th Sense.

well considering its a dd and im a college student, spending a couple hundred bucks for a header isnt exactly in the budget!

Why do you deserve anymore slack than the rest of us? We all do our part for this country.
Just one example is me sitting at work right now making money that pay's the taxes to the gov't to pay you to be where you are at now. So without me there's no you, I guess I deserve more slack.
I had the 2.4L 4 - 1 headers on my old sunfire, and I never had problems with them. No cracks or anything. Didn't rust except on the flange bolts, and they were on they car for 2 years. So I guess I got lucky or something.
