ok so my started decided it wanted to die so i changed it after i changed the starter my car wouldn't start......(not the question at all though)..a couple months ago i changed my cluster 4 one w/ a tach.,. all i did to make it work was start the car w/ the old cluster hooked up then i unplugged it and plugged the one w/ the tach in...everything worked car started fine everything .....but since yesterday when i changed my starter it won't start w/ the tached cluster in it only the stock one....if it was theft lock crap wouldn't it have done it right away ???? how do i bypass this .. by the way my car is a 96 2.2 5 speed

check your little ground wire on your starter motor.. i have it on a switch for anti theft.. if that little 18g wire isnt grounded.. it wont crank over
