I have a 2200, and i am not expecting much out of it without boost. I'm heading to college in the fall and i am going to commute (20ish miles) to school so reliability is key, and i cant afford to have my car out of commission to often (say to put in boost, or deal with problems related to it).
My Idea was, to buy a 2200 head from a salvage yard, Get it cleaned up Honed, P&P, new valves, gaskets of coarse, and anything else head related you would recommend and then swap that into my car.
Would there be any gains made by the rebuild and P&P?
What would i want to replace?
Would i need new headers / cat back to see any increase?

I would do cams and full exhaust if your going to get a P&P head.
