the brown wire wraps aroudn plug number 4 then you use the cam sync to fake the sensor for the car. the brown wire will let the msd know the proper timing. livewirerodimus.com has all the details. he used stock coils but it is essential the same. you fool the computer into thinking the cam is working jsut fine then let the msd actually handle the timing adjustment.

JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

There should be bullet connectors on your Cam Sync and MSD harness, that's were those two connect together. As for the rest, I've not gotten that far with my MSD install. Hope you get it figured out, I'm going to the MSD coils and wires at some point in the near future.

There is a wire off the stock ICM that needs to be cut and spliced into the came syc. I think it's the brown/white. I believe Rodimus has it pictured with a tap splice, I found that doesn't work, called MSD and they said you have to cut the stock brown/white and splice the Cam Sync's brn/wht to the wire. Not on the ICM side, but the other side. That's the only thing I can think of. Pix of install when you get it done please.

Mine stays constant. MSD told me that when it's funtioning properly it will be constant, but when it's not working right it will flash.
