i read alot of forums about this and many people said it is very raspy . any ideas on how to get rid of it like the glass packs if so where do i install them and where can i find it..

Did you get a Magnaflow exhaust, or an RK Sport exhaust? The RK Sport exhaust is made by Magnaflow but isn't the same as the Magnaflow exhaust. The reason I ask is because it seems, yes, the RK Sport exhaust can sound raspy, but the Magnaflow usually isn't.
I have the Magnaflow dual exhaust I got from RK and it's not raspy at all.
Ok, in both of your cases (Jason and humblenewbie), the key is whether its the Magnaflow exhaust (came in a Magnaflow box, says Magnaflow all over it) or the RK Sport exhaust (probably wouldnt come in a Magnaflow box, and would have the canister style muffler or mufflers, in the case of the dual one). You see, Magnaflow makes the exhaust branded as RK Sport, and yes, there are slight differences between the two (at least from what Ive heard...I believe the Magnaflow ones have a resonator and the RK Sport doesnt). Im not sure if RK Sport sells the Magnaflow one actually. Yes, if you buy an RK Sport exhaust, its actually coming straight from Magnaflow, because thats who makes it for them. But its not truly a Magnaflow exhaust (except that it just so happens thats who made it). Theyre different.
I know, its retarded. But they are NOT one and of the same. Do some searches and youll find Magnaflow exhaust mentioned and RK Sport exhaust mentioned...and read up on the satisfaction of people with each.
I picked mine up directly from Rk. It was in a plain white box, but the mufflers are actual magnaflows.
