just keep your motor bro... your better off... the time and money you'd put into doing a swap like that... you could get more power outa the plant ya got going... its just not logical...

me.

no one has done it....yet. and i doubt anyone will since the 2.2 ecotec can put out more power for less money than what that kind of swap would cost

Is it possible?.........Yes
Has it been done?..........No
Will it be done?........Most likely
Is it worth it?......Maybe, if you want to safely spin 8000+ RPMS...otherwise your L61 will suit you just fine.
Are we sick of hearing this question?.....Yes

x2

I HIGHLY doubt anyone will do the work to swap over to Direct Injection....... since thats what the new 2.0 runs......

Now if your just swapping the block, keeping your head (or maybe a 2.0 SS head) and then the turbo manifold and turbo...... maybe then I can see it happening..... but still not worth the work.

learn the differences. THE reason gen 2 eco's are not easy swaps is because the crank sensor. also the vvt system needs a controller to work. not sure about the fuel setup, but that is prolly the easy part..

dont bother.. your Eco can be far more than anyone on this site will make it.

possible yes, but for the same power to the wheels which is about 230, you can slap a turbo on your stock engine and make that at as little as 7-8 psi with a decent sized turbo and fueled properly

why the F do people keep asking the same stupid questions in the wrong dam fourms !!!!!!!!!!!!

also same issues with the 2.0 turbo and the 2.0 s/c , a hell of alot of electroinics differences = not worth it
