Yea... dont see how this would be a problem... but figured i'd get some opinions anyhow... found this on ebay. Thought about the idea of when I get my header & all to cut & weld this onto it... eliminating the cat... and then doing a full header back exhaust from there... thoughts?

guess if you get it cheap enough it would be worth a shot
ok. why does everyone want to take off their cat? it doesn't sacrifice any power whatsoever, it helps the exhaust to be at a MUCH more tolerable sound level, and it helps keep my air clean. is this a street car? if it is, and even if you don't have emission inspections in your state, it is a FEDERAL OFFENSE to remove a cat from a car that came with one. are you boosted? if not, and if you don't have a monster supporting mod list (ala pj) then 3" is just too big. you may like the sound from a catless exhaust at first, but trust me, after the first few times you get the police' attention in the same trip, you'll want to rethink it.

ALWAYS run a cat on a street car.

better a delay than a disaster.
removing a cat on an na car can have negative effects
on high boost it can add power being without it three inch might be a bit much

Waste of money--especially if you ever come back to Pa. Just because it has an O2 sensor bung does not mean it will work well, either. With a 3"pipe on a basic bolt-on engine, you will lose power.
Not worth it. Get a Maganflow cat instead.
