and it depends on your year also
You may want to specify the year. The 2.2 ended I believe 98 or 97 then came the 2200 a updated version. Then the Ecotec. So you may want to specify.

Had to change sig because some dickhead is mad it went 1 letter over size
i saw an 02 with only a AEM cold air and Megan exhaust, it made 137 hp at the wheels. i don't remember the torque #s. these 2 items might get an extra 10 hp if your lucky
did you actually see the dyno sheet? as the dyno was being run? i could mebbe see those kind of numbers for the eco, but not a 2200 or 2.2

Aren't the stock eco 2.2s 140hp?
***Looking for a BLUE 03+ STOCK cavi wing pm me if ya got one you wanna sell***
i thought 97- was 115 and 98-01 was 130
Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.
Numbers at the crank are pretty meaningless since GM typically underrates them, generally 2.2OHVs get about 100-110 to the wheels, ecos about mid 120s to mid 130s

1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85

98-01 2200 SFI LN2 base on manufactures specs (flywheel)

02 plus 2.2 ECOTEC L61, based on wheel horsepower
95-97 is not listed, all info is taken from

my 01 sunfire dynoed 83hp and 106 torque to the wheels with it had 84K miles on it. it was a 4 speed auto head a header high flow cat 2.25 inch pipes magnaflow muffler and a rk sport CAI.
oops sorry guys i was wrong it did 92 haha. it was so long ago i for got. heres the graph a saved its best run was 92hp and 105torque i did a air/fuel reading also when i had it done.
i done really care the car did what it needed to do in the time that i had it . sold the car to a old highschool friend and now they have 135k on it and havent had to fix a thing on it.
That graph shows how safe the stock tune is. I might have to HPT my sister's stock 2200 to see what can be gained...
