Hey guys,
Where does the bypass valve for the 03 ECO go on the intake?

Somewhere between the filter and the throttle body.

As far as I know of, you have to cut a section of the piping out to add in the bypass valve. I don't know what kind of intake you have but I'm guessing maybe an AEM, if so here you go.

"AEM is in the process of including daigrams in the Cold Air Induction System (CAS) instructions for Air Bypass Valve placement. In the mean time, if you receive a system without this information and are unsure as to where the Air Bypass Valve installs on your CAS, please post your application and an engineer will supply the information for you.

Generally, the Air Bypass Valve installs along the upper section of the induction pipe, close to the throttle body. Be sure that it is not installed too close to the Inlet Air Temp sensor, and NEVER install an air bypass valve in between a throttle body and Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF), or on a forced induction vehicle.

Be sure to check for clearance for the width of the Air Bypass Valve during installation, and to use the provided template to remove the proper amount of material from the induction pipe."

Hope that helps some.

Ok...
I got the valve in.. as where the pic shows... was pretty easy. Is there anyway that I can test it to make sure it works, or will I have to wait till it rains?

drive your car into a lake just enough to cover the cone filter. Or just complelely soak your cone filter in a bucket of water. Does the car still run?

OBTW, i do not Condone any of the above actions, And will not be held responsible for damage or partial and or complete quotes.

cut out a piece of cardboard square or circle doesn't matter, big enough to cover the end of the intake's tube completely...have a friend step on the gas and place the piece of cardboard on the end of the intake tube (ofcourse there's no filter on it at this point) I'm GUESSING it should open the bypass valve up.

DON'T hold me responsible for any of this because I just came up with this idea within the last 15 seconds of reading your post. ::shrugs::
