Nope...Are you taking the whole condenser / evaporator and lines out? If your removing your A/C you should.
I just electrical taped my open ends off.

Your vehicle has R134A in it which is ozone safe and doesn't require a EPA cert to work with (R12 you have to get a AC cert).
As long as you drain the system without putting your hands, fingers or other digits in the direct spray of the coolant you will be fine to just dump it into the air.
I recommend draining it outside, not in a garage, then drive into the garage for tear down.

Yup, that would be your best bet.
They might not charge you either. Because they can then resell that freon to someone else.
so if i just took it off how amny wires will i have after i do that? where do the silver pipes go from the silver thing? through the firewall at all or is it all in the engine bay?

Maybe you should have someone experienced do this.... you might hurt yourself
there is r134 and oil with dye in it
s*it man at work I cant even sell R12 without you have a AC licease and the experience of using R12
Opening Soon Kustom J's
so there will only be oil coming out of the pump or the pump and condensor? ill haveta call someone once i get out of school to see how much it would accually cost to get the system discharged or should i say it differently cuz i wanna get rid of it so it will be easier to do stuff under the hood, on left passenger side atleast.

There may be some PAG oil, and R134A, the only reason there will be any dye is if someone has checked for leaks or added a oil seal w/ dye.
In 1995 GM changed to R134A instead of R12, they sell refill kits at Walgreens for R134A now.
Put on some gloves and remove the cap from the low pressure side and use a screw driver to press in the valve to drain the system.
Why do you want to get rid of the AC again?
You can just put the other belt on and bypass the compressor, unplug the cycling switch from the compressor also.
Unless there is a reason for you removing the unit, I say leave it be, and put the belt on that doesn't use the AC.
