Even if I knew a way, I wouldn't tell you. That poor 2.2 would croak.

Seriously. The neutral rev limiter exists on automatics to protect the car from you.

There is no rev limiter in drive, only a speed governer, @ 108.

If you have a race season, if you can trap 108 in the 1/4, you already know who to disable it.

Please don't tell me you're revving up in neutral and dropping into Drive to launch at the track......

I just checked out your profile, and I'm curious has to what you mean by "fuel chip" and "tranny chip" ......also your engine isn't really built, but if you're doing what I think you are at the track its your transmission thats gonna blow.

There is no way to disable the rev limiters yet. HP tuners software (which is supposed to be in beta now) would do that. When that program comes out, you would need to use it.

What kind of fuel and tranny chips are you using?

i dont netrual drop it, i have a B&M tranny chip, and a prgrammer from summit, stage 2 cam, pitons, rods, fuel injectors, i just want to be able to rev it up higher in netrual, and i have a rev limiter in drive, i hit it at about 6,000 rpm

No ish. If you want higher revs while launching, get a torque converter w/ a higher stall, and learn to powerbrake.

Actually, there is a way. I found out by pure accident, however you throw so many codes, your car becomes undrivable.

HP tuners will be your friend. Their software will remove the rev limiter, as well as help you tune the motor for what ever you're adding to it ( ie: boost, nitrous, ect)

Don't let the punks get to you. If they can't say anything helpful its because they probably
have VERY LITTLE IF ANY MECHANICAL SKILLS . Talking crap is just their way of hiding that
fact. They figure the more crap they say the less likley anyone will know how dumb they are.
