Is there a reason that ppl make the sae correction to thier numbers? it seems like all that does is take the weather out of teh equation and give you lower numbers when in fact your actually putting more power to the ground with the std correction

It'd be odd to see your numbers actually go down...normally they go up.
Should someone at 1000ft think their engine is more efficient than someone at 7000ft just because they ran in better conditions? (Just to bring up the heated VE debate of yor lol)

actually my SAE numbers are lower than the uncorrected in every single instance

Corrected should be lower. It takes the temperature and humidity and elevation out of the equation and gives you a raw number to use for comparison basis.
