Is it possible to put a 2.4's throttle body on the 2200? Im going off of pics, but it looks like it has the same bolt pattern. Just wondering, a guy I know just did the eco swap and doesn't need the 2.4's anymore. I know the extra 4mm's won't do much, but for free it can't hurt.

yes I'm sure they swap over. me and a friend checked it when I took off my tb.

2.4l tb is the same size as the 2200 and will swap over
both are 52mm
the 2.3 l tb is what your looking for..its 56mm
Oh, my bad, I thought the 2.4 was a 52mm and the 2200 ws a 48mm. IDK, I never actually mic'd them. Thanx, does anybody know where to get the HO TB, besides the junkyard. All the yards around here don't have any 2.3's except the LO, and I know the bolt pattern is different.

dude the LO and the HO throttle bodies are the same thing... 56mm. the intake manifolds were different, not the throttle bodies.
the throttle body will still work, or at least should. many people use it..it doesn't have to be the lo
I went to the yard and looked at the LO's TB, and it only had 3 bolts holding it down. this was also on a grand am 2.3L, if that makes a difference.

yeah i do beleive that 2 of the bolts line up with the 2200 mani, and it will still seal correctly...
i think its in the faq some where, but i know people are running that TB
mine works just fine on my 2.4 and the same one worked just fine on my 2200
