who has used this on the 2200 motors.
I understand the theory behind it but I want to know who has installed one and can verify a preformance increase
i.e. 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, or g-tech readings??????
if increases are less than say .10 on the 1/4 mile I don't see spending the money to buy it and the spare time to install it.
anybody?
its not exactly going to give you much horsepower.
its only a lightened pully, they do this so that you have no problems with the eletrical system and still can use the stock belt.
the theory behind it is with the lower rotating mass you will rev quicker to get into your power band faster... and its just like every other bolt on on a 2200, your not going to see much by itself, by with other mods you will see a better increase
I have the underdrive pulley along with the overdrive alt pulley and it gave me nice gains, especially with an auto, revs up and pulls in second ALOT harder ( noticeable increase ) i got mine from jtuners
Well
FOr some sort of comparison.... I got a RSm 62mm TB and the pulley.......... and I dropped .5 off my time........... on AVERAGE....

was the TB done on the car with the boost. I think a mostly stock n/a car would see less gains than that
i ran a 16.2 in the quarter as my best run without the rsm pulley, i already had the catback and intake on the car already though. when i put the pulley on i managed to get a 16.0 out of it. so i guess you could say i got 2 tenths out of it, but then again different humidity and temp levels could have influenced my faster time too. hope that one helped dude.
thanks for the info
I have done pullies on like 3 other cars and I wouldn't of expected a pullie that is just lightened to do anything
how ever I will look into the jtuners kit. it looks like it would be a bit better

the better kit?
take it from a person that has owned both jtuners and rsm, I still have the rsm....
