Ok I found these on ebay so that kinda raises a red flag... but has anyone heard of OBX. I hope this isn't the biggest noob question asked but all my friends are ricers that know absoulutly nothing about my car or J-bodies in general so I thought I would come to the best for the answer.

Anyways here is the link.

Do you know of anyone who has them or are the just junk? I was looking at the rk sport headers, and the OBX headers look no were near as nice.

Yes, OBX is a pretty good company, if i were you i would go with Pacesetter. But i haven't heard anything bad about OBX. By the way, what kind of exhaust do you have?

I personally have an obx header for a 2200 and can't complain at all about it. It was pretty easy to install and hasn't cracked or warped like some of the others do (mainly pacesetter) If you have a 5 speed you will have to remove the brace that goes from the tranny to the starter (and I believe it also bolts to engine somewhere to) But I haven't heard of anyone having a problem without the brace. I think the price is alot cheaper than rksport, but your not sacrificing quality.

All in all I would say get it, if you want to see a pic of it installed on a 2200 let me know.

............super 60 on its way

I have a beautiful stainless steel OBX header. Much better than pacesetters mild steel garbage. I'm not much even for pacesetters coated headers......

Well i feel dumb now, i was just goin off of what people have told me, but i guess you shouldn't go with Pacesetter. OBX sounds like a deal to me.

The 2000 Z24 I just brought had the OBX stainless header and a catback exhaust on it when I got the car 3 weeks ago and I have no complaints.

2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.

The OBX header on my 97 2.2l is a piece of crap. The im pipe would hit my transmission pan and axle housing if I didn't put enormous dents in it.

I guess the 2.2 ohv header isn't a good fit then......... I like my 2.4 header. I had to modify it slightly to get the flow out of it that I wanted, but the build quality itself is great. I'll never have to worry about it rusting, and it looks great.
