my car is a 2005 ecotec sunfire manual transmission and wanna know how to install
my shift light on it?

^^ Its better than a big 10" tach that this kid around me is using. He has a muffler and intake with a bunch of nasty body work and he is trying to tell me why he needs the tach, and it gets better, its an auto.

I could understand a tach after some modification to the transmission like a flywheel and such.

If it is just a shift light on its own you will need a tach adaptor and a rpm switch.
