And intake is an intake, is an intake. Its fine as long as you have the 2200 engine and you still have the box that says 2200 on it.

Judging by what that intake pictured looks like... it won't make it much past your valve cover. Look. Go to http://www.ny-jbodies.org/library/engine/2200/homemadeintake.htm to learn about the homemade CAI you can build.

no it works pefectly just you have to remove your airbox. like they said above an Intake is an Intake. No need to pay 200 dollars for the same piece of aluminum just with decaling on it. Theywork fine as long as you remove your stock airbox your hood will close.

Well I understand that. I'm talking about the length of pipe after the bend. It looks like the filter would be almost right next to the head and not much closer to your battery.

Only problem with that DIY, if you have the 2200 your TB is sunk about 6"s behind the engine, its not on top.

1- 92-2000 Honda Civic intake
1- 94-2001 Honda Prelude Intake
1- 3 inch 90 degree rubber elbow
(if you own a 95-97 2.2 you will
need a 45 degree elbow instead) 1- 3 inch cone filter
1- PCV breather filter
2- 3 inch hose clamps

It's right there dood. Different elbows for the different motors.
