Like the topic says, i need some reassurance guys.. I have an 02 ls with the 2200 and im wondering what its general life-span is if taken care of. Im sittin here lookin at my friends civic with 180,000 , and then ma mans civic with 295,000 miles... both runnin real strong, and im not thinkin my cav will ...(mainly the engine)... what do you think about it?

Personally, I don't have any experience with the 2200 but if you take care of any engine very well then it will last you a long time. Just depends on how hard you drive it and how well you take care of it.

I'm sitting at 164k miles on mine right now, 54k on the head I have now... but since I crossthreaded a spark plug into it and I have another blown head gasket... looks like I'll be getting yet another cyl head very soon if I even get to keep the car.
