Im looking into getting a magnaflow resonator for my exaust that i will be having done soon and am wondering if this is the correct one. I will be having a 2.5 inch complete exaust be bent up from a local shop.
So far it will include:
Pace Setter Header
Magnaflow Cat
Magnaflow Res.
Magnaflow 4x9 oval muffler
Here is the link:

I'm not understanding your questions...

If you are planning on getting this resonator, than that's a good choice. Just a tip, make sure the shop is doing either compression bends or mendrel bends, do not get crush bends. Also, you might want to re-think getting a 2 1/2" exhaust system, aim for 2 1/4" unless you plan on boosting or doing some motor work (atleast valvetrain upgrades).

werd. most exhaust shops that do catbacks don't even bother with crush bends... then again you do have the select few that do crush bends because... well we really don't know why.

I have a Cherry Bomb Glass pack works just as well. Man Magnaflow is just geting a lot of business. No one even talks about Dynomax which is also a great muffler, FYI Thrush is Dynomax. I love Dynomax muffler not a Magnaflow person they rasp a litte to much.

i have a 4" round by 18 in. magnaflow resonator, i got it off ebay for cheap. performance peddler was the guy i got it from, also has magnaflow highflow cats for like 50 bucks shipped instead of 75 plus shipping like the "j-body supporting" sellers.

Ok thanks for the help. Yea ik that its a little pricey for a resonator but it is also stainless steel and i believe cherry bomb resonators arnt. Any more tips would be apreciated......ik the 2.5 is a lil big for a NA motor right now but hopefully by summer i will have the gm supercharger in aswell and i don't feel like redoing my whole exaust twice.
thanks for the commments

2 1/2" would be perfect with a Supercharger setup. Either the cherry bomb or the magnaflow would be fine, doesn't really matter what it looks like cause no one will see underneath your car anyways.

Good luck with the setup.
