there is dirt and salt and all kinds of good stuff all of my muffler. so im gonna get a magnaflow muffler, i havent decided which one though. i dont really went to spend like 65 bucks to have a muffler welded on when my dad is a welder and he could do it. so my question is, is there specific way to weld a muffler on or can my dad just cut the old one off and weld the new one on??
Sometimes you gotta spend a little bit of money for quality parts. Magnaflow Stainless Steele mufflers are beautiful mufflers and flow great as well.
I suggest you do what I did, buy their universal Muffler, pick a tip you want (of course all shairing the same inlet size) and have it welded together. Shouldn't be much money to do so, it's an easy job for a welder.
Yes, your father can just cut the old muffler off and weld the new one on.
