Can you use the cobalt a/f guage with a wideban sensor or does it just work on a narrow band?

Only works on a narrowband. A wideband sensor needs a wideband display. There are some that work with narrowband displays, but you still need the wideband controller, which is the expensive part.

err. So here is the big question... I just got this gauge and it is just to make sure that the car isnt running too rich or lean when i run with the spray. Would a narrow band still work for the time being untill I am able to save up the money to buy a wideband?
