engine problem due to motor mounts
Sunday, October 16, 2005 2:34 PM
A strange noise started in my engine right after I put them in sounds almost like a quiet BOV when i let off the gas after accelerating.... It's not a tranny noise cause it does it when I'm sitting still w/o clutch or moving. I would take them out but it's too much work.

who said it's a problem? you add things...noises change. I noticed my intake got louder after mounts...and when i shift hard from gear to gear i get an almost BOV sound...i think it's cool lol...especially when it's loud enough for people to ask you if you have turbo

i got a deeper intake tone after removing the resonator, coupled with the upper mount too, i like the sound, but it usually does it when im in too low of a gear, and stomp the gas.

Hopefully it is just a noise change. I think it's a problem though!! I'll tell you all what it was when it ends up breaking. Maybe a bearing in the engine going out or something
