you guys notice any difference with that mod.. does the engine really rev faster and accelerate better... what are your outputs?

By lessing the way on your crank pulley, yes, this will result in faster reving but it's noticable to a point. Of course, don't expect anything outrageous but something noticeable.
Also, because this is a stock size lightweight pulley, you won't experience any charging issues.

its noticable in the higher RPM range

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
ordering next week, good to know its in the higher rpms more noticeable, thats my cars power zone :-)
Why is it like 1000 people have done these kind of mods and not 1 person has a consistant before/after dyno showing any gains?

Because most people aren't going to spend $80-100 each time they do a modification, especially a modification of little power gains.

There has to be at least one person lol, thats all Im saying. If anyone is willing to donate one to me I will pay to go hitup the local mustang dyno twice

its a helper mod, on its own it wont do much but with other mods it helps

Exactly

i had it on my old 2200 2.2 it smoothed out the acceleration a little
Sorry...

on a 2.2, every mod is a helper mod (bolt-ons, not boost). and all the helpers don't seem to get anywhere lol. or maybe it's just because my 2.2 auto suuuucks.

well its reducing rotating mass which is always a plus

absolutely.

I use the billet pulley on my LN2, along with an 11-pound flywheel. I noticed a smoother and quicker rev with the pulley, but not a real major gain. The flywheel, on the other hand, changed the engine's behavior quite a bit. I only changed it since I had to change my clutch anyway (glazing is for donuts, not clutches), so I figured what the f$*k. The car gets into the meat of the power band much easier, but be careful. Go too light, and the engine will dump rpms like a sack of rocks when you shift. Inertia, apparently, is a very good thing with our engines.
Personally I didn't notice any difference, but I figured it would help in the long run.
im thinking about ordering one, but someones telling me its going to mess up my harmonic balance. is this anything that is true or could effect me in the long run?
..i got an rksport crank pulley in the classifieds....<hint hint>...cheap..

...ive had both an underdrive pulley, then a stock size lightweight pulley on my car for about 30,000 miles, without any kind of problems whatsoever. youll be fine, provided you get the correct belt size. an underdrive pulley may cause charge issues (which is only important if you have an extravagant sound system or something to draw more amps)..but a normal car should be fine.

so there should be no issues with the harmonic balancing my friend was trying to tell me?
..i dont think so. not with our cars. if so,m someone would have posted about it by now.

There is no issues.

sweet, that answered that, now what about if i do this, along with my stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel, will i run into any issuses about dropping rpms when i shift more than normal?
...i have the exact setup you are describing. yes, they drop quickly, but who cares? If you are daily driving, just shift in neutral, and the revsll drop with no harm, no foul. if you are draggin or racing, itll just teach ya to shift quicker.
