Ok, when i redid my entire exhaust system late last year and installed my OBX header i deleted the cat and installed a Caspers electronics O2 sim for the post CAT O2 and have not had any problems since.
Well in the last few weeks i started to get a check engine light and the code was for the O2 sensor heater, and i unplugged the sim and everything looks good, no bent pins or frayed ir rubbed wires.
So i hooked it back up and erased the code and a few dasy later it came back.
So my question is is there anyway to fix this without replacing the O2 sim?
Has anybody else had this problem?
Thanks
Mike

My car throws codes every 3 months or so for the same thing, nothing I've found to get rid of it, just clear the code when it throws, and carry on about your business. I've got no cat either, with the Casper's O2 sim.

There is a post here in performance forum discussing this. Hopefully you still have your O2 sensor and a bung. Basially, they found a spark plug antifouler installed in the bung would take the sensor out of the exhaust flow and it wouldn't throw a code.
I have the casper 02 sim and it never worked for me from day 1.
As Zach said the Electronic ones suck. I have one and it will work for about a month and then throw a code. Read page 2 of this post:
Manual O2 sim
This does work.
