yes i was confused at first too. Why daewoo? anyways...i heard that 2.2l daewoo head flows better than a cavaliers stock head for a 2.2 eco. the gain is somewhere between 10-15hp...and it is a direct bolt on of course. Has ANYONE ever heard of this? also since daewoo is dead in the US, parts would be hard to find but not expensive from what i understand.

I personally wouldn't take a stock head from another car to replace a stock head. Spend the money, get it worked with a P & P and upgrade the valvetrain parts.

Typically, the Daewoo head swap is for the Pontiac 2.0 OHC engine from the 80's and 90's, not the Ecotec.

also. its a daewoo. they suck for reliability. i dont even want a daewoo looking at my cavalier. that takes like 10 miles off the life of your car.

^^^ correct, is a replacement for 2.0 ohc engine usually found in sunbirds and other cars of such. 10-15 hp ain't a bad gain but the head won't last long
