I have the ZZ Performance Block off plate and simulator, my question is the green and white wires coming from the simulator, where do these connect to?
Thanks
Chris

Damn, I was way out the loop. I just thought you blocked it off with a plate and be done with it.

not sure if that zz performance block off plate will work. i got the one GM makes for the 2.4 ( search for a part #).
u tap into the middle wire of your map sensor. I am pretty sure it is green.
Your car will probably run bad. I took mine off and just clear the check engine light when i start it up.
i dunno, hook it up and see if your car bogs, hesitates and randomly stalls. If it doesnt you are good to go.
I have the simulator on my car. I will look at it later to see how I wired it up. it should have came with instructions. I have no code and have never had a code. after I installed it I felt a little lack in the throttle response, but I was told to run higher octane. I tried it and it doesn't seem to do it anymore.

see the EGR is a joke, i hate it . there is no way around it.
some have good luck with the simulator some dont. i tried it all. and clearing a check engine light / having the egr plug just dangling there and having my car run like stock is well worth it to me over "not" clearing a check engine light and having a car run like crap.
see hooking that up causes a drop in the map sensor voltage, that is why the car will run like doo doo.
I been through this crap for about a year, and my best results have been just clearing the egr code and driving away. sorta sucks , but that is the price i pay for performance and having a car that has so many mix and match parts but it runs 1000% awesome.
not sure why u got the egr block off plate from ZZ performance, it is meant for a gm V6 motor, so it will probably not fit. It MIGHT, as i havent looked into it, but i doubt it.
have fun
It was included in the package I bought, it looks like two pieces of aluminum that I supose I line up as an "L".
Jake, I dont understand what your saying, do you have the egr wires not hooked up at all, and you are living with the EGR code/Check engine light? Please let me know exactly whats going on, doesnt make much sense.

i have installed my HO manifold with your adapter flange, thanx chris, and i have install a block off plate and just leave the egr disconnect!!! its been there for about 2 weeks now and engine is running like before, off course it pulls harder in higher rpm with a nice little whine sound. I have no check engine light, no problem what so ever!!!
i dunno why, i think i should have at least a check engine light since i have no more egr!!!!!!
i tried the egr simulator. it worked on getting rid of the CEL, but made the car run like crap.
so i removed the egr simulator and now just deal with the CEL / left the egr plug hanging there and I now have a car that runs awesome but has a check engine light i have to clear when i start up the car.
I forgot to check last night, I was up untill 12:30 finishing up the secret cams(which are awsome) so i'll try to tonight.

if you clear the CEL light when you start up the car wont it just come back on after driving for a little bit.. i know that if i clear mine by disconnecting the battery it will come back on after i drive for a minute
with my car, i start up the car, wait for the code(about 30 seconds) then plug in my code scanner and wait for it to come up and then clear it and drive away.that is about a one minute process if that . I have drove 125 striaght miles and the CEL does come back on.
WIth the EGR physically in the car but hooked up electroniclly not mechanicly the check engine light comes on, i clear it and it comes right back.
so like i stated b4, my best bet is just to tuck the plug away and clear the code.
another thing, i just hooked up a O2 simulator, and now the egr light didnt come on right away once or twice. But i havent driven it a long distance to really see.
