fuel pump location
Sunday, September 04, 2005 11:48 AM
Does anyone know on which side of the car the fuel pump is located? I want to put an access panel under my rear seat so it's easier to get to the pump but i need to know about where it is located so i know where to start cutting. Any help would be appreciated.

ok for one the pump is in the middle of your tank but your not going to be able to make an access door due to the fact that the fuel lines that go to the pump are hardened plastic and if u try and take it out or pull the top off it will crack or snap the lines... they arent flexible at all. but if ur upp attempting go ahead a new pump is 365 bux.. its ur choice take 1 hr total to drop tank and replace the pump and put it bac kin or take a chance of breaking the lines and buying a new one ..
