Ive tried to figure this out before with no avail. I really dont want to throw all kinds of parts at this car, but here it goes. Im getting a thump from my passenger side. Ive replaced the drivers side wheel bearing, passenger is 2 years old, axles appear to be ok, and new front tires. You can hear it at 25mph and increases with speed. Turn hard to the left, no change, hard to the right, no change. You put the car in park, you can feel a vibration in the brake pedal, but in drive and neutral its ok. Theres no pull when you brake, and the car drives straight. Rear tires are about 15k old and are off brand, didnt get them balanced though.
With the rising price with gas, Im trying to make this my primary car, but I want it to be safe.
My money is on the tires, swap them to the there side of the car and see if the sound moves.
if you replaced the tires, I'd have your cv joints checked out, thats what my bonneville did before the cv joint was replaced

would a transaxle bearing make the same noise, if so how hard is it to replace?
